Step
Use Washers under nuts and bolts to protect the frame.
Align the frames as accuratly as possible (try glass)
The long bearing block faces up (bearings are removed upwards)
The short bearing block faces down (bearings fall out)
Step
Use shouldered bolts to install bellcranks 4619 and 4620.
Make sure bellcranks are installed into correct holes. Sequence as follows: Left front = top, Left back = lower, Right front = lower, Right back = top.

Aluminum spacer 4118 is installed beveled hole on Inner Dia. facing up.
Step
Oil or grease engine collet.
Put washers on 4mm engine mount bolts. Use 4mmx45mm longer bolts.
Put thin washer under adapter nut to prevent loosening.
Ballance fan and clutch
Step
Fill cooling air duct with balsa for snug fit around engine cylinder head for better cooling.
Step
Use addendum sheet labeled "Umbausatz 73Z Rechts S2999".
Install aluminum ring 4653 under gear 4468.
Step
Do not overtighten bolt 3522 or bearings will bind.
Loctite shaft 4304 to bearing.
Step
Fit all ball links for drag free operation.
Step
CA ballends 3495 into Pitch Compensator Arms.
Replace bolt 0087 with shouldered bolt.
Install 1025 Pitch Compensator Upgrade instead of 3426 using loctite.
Shorten brass sleeve of 4665 on top and bottom.
Step
Airtronics servos are a bit small for the cutouts.
Throttle servo plate screws strip very easily.
Step
Right top fuel tank fitting must not foul throttle linkage.
Step
Deburr holes and slots in tailboom and t/r drive tube.
Degrease ID / OD and brackets of 4664.
If the tube drive bearing holder is not perfectly straight the slight wiggle that occurs may over time cut thru the tailboom. A upgrade is available if desired (U$15) else keep an eye on it. Boom may break in half after 100 flights.

Shafts are tight fit in bearing, use 600grit sandpaper.
Ballance Tailrotor assy.
Plastic t/r grips are tight and shavings can foul thrustbearings.
Loosen up pitch slider links.
Step
Sand t/r housing for fit in tailboom.
Loctite bearings to shafts.
Use shouldered bolt for 4029 bellcrank.
Step
Boom supports are short and heavy. Cut off ends and use carbon arrow 23.5 in.
Mount boom supports on aft landing gear bolts for increased rigidity>
Best tailblade length is around 100mm.
Optional tailboom rudder servo mount 0941.
90 Degree ECCPM Conversion
I heard a lot of talk about the S1090 ECCPM conversion for the Futura / Quatro / Millie. I just didn't want to spend
U$175 for some linkages and levers. So I made my own setup. Cost is next to nothing, all that is required is an additional servo. All original pushrods are used, frames are NOT modified. The entire ECCPM mess can be removed in 5 minutes.
Here are some pictures. I messed up and forgot to add a 1 inch lib to the front of the ECCPM tray for the support rod to the frame. I had to use a 4/40 stainless pushrod. The servos are set that way because it allows for the straightest pushrod run and aven at max deflection, teh servo arms do not interfere with each other.
