The OS91 and the Perry Pump

Curtis Youngblood and other Top Gun weenies added the V30 Perry pump to their OS91 setups. I of course had to try it out too. I'm still experimenting so comprehensive reports will take some more time.

Installation on a Raptor 90. Header tank to fuel filter, to Perry pump, to T fitting, to carb. T fitting has Perry one-way valve to allow excess fuel to return to the tank. Muffler pressure IS used. The pump spring inside the adjustment needle is stretched to twice it's original length. Pressure fitting on bottom of OS91 backplate drives the pump.

This is supposed to give a consistant fuel supply to the engine and may eliminate the slight lean spot in the hover position.

You need: VP-30 Perry Pump, Perry smoke One-way valve, T fitting, drill and JB weld for the pressure tab.
